Bentley under the Bus
Bachelorette host (Chris Harrison) with help from former contestant on the Bachelor (Michelle Money) felt the need to throw Bentley under the bus even before he stepped out of the limo to meet Ashley. We all know that Michelle is trying to promote her career as a professional reality TV star runner-up (or more likely, wants to Bentley all to herself) while Chris Harrison clearly has a ratings agenda (or more likely, got picked on by a Bentley look-alike in high school).
Now poor Bentley has to try to climb out of the hole they dug for him. But it all makes sense. Without these antics, the other Bachelorette contestants wouldn’t stand a fighting chance with Ashley or with viewers. Ultramarathons are lame, winemaking is for dilettantes, and speaking French (with an American accent) is très passé. Bentley just stands out so much more than the other guys. Looks, style, charm, wit, professional success, confidence. He’s his own man, and he’s interesting. He certainly holds our attention more than those other cardboard cutouts.

This has got to be a joke, right?! How can you explain the arrogant things he has said already? The guy is an asshole and it is all his own doing. Not editing, not people being jealous of him. Just him. The only person I feel badly for is his daughter. Some example he is. barf.
For a show that has almost 0% relationship success rate and expects a proposal after only 8 dates (half with other men)–Don’t you think your taking the show a bit too seriously?

if anyone should understand his situation it should be michelle. she went around telling everyone that she had been villianized. I know bentley and he has had a number of producers call and apologize to him….reality tv seems like it is far from reality!
I talked to Bentley at the gym as well and his business partner is over at our house all the time. Even at the gym, the day after the show aired, the producers were calling him and apologizing!

Our neighbor is best friends with Michelle Money and was saying that the producers ask them trick questions to get certain answers out of them! They copy and paste the heck out of their interviews!
It seems to me that Bentley’s #1 motive is his daughter. The bachelorette obviously doesn’t meet the checklist he has for a wife (AKA mother figure for his child). I respect him for his honesty and staying strong to what’s most important!
I’m sorry but here is a guy that is a single dad and a practicing mormon and yet he went on a reality tv show for what purpose? I don’t believe for a single second that it was anything more than fame seeking. If he really is looking for a wife I don’t think he should have gone on the show in the first place.
Who has ever had material fame from this show? Furthermore, I bet most people on the show are there because IT’S A SHOW. If it’s for fame, he would clearly not be alone. His honesty probably comes from knowing that he actually will not find his wife on the show (as nearly all don’t).

Someone has an ax to grind. You are taking the two dates Bentley went on (with 4-20 other dudes) a bit too seriously. Also, why do you want to drag your “friend” on this burning ship by mentioning her name? You seem more like a fame whore than most of the contestants.
You know who I feel the worst for in this whole thing?! His daughter. One day she is going to find out about her daddy leaving her to go on a reality tv show and then acting like an ass in front of the whole nation. Great example.

Um yes they are requesting his info and it’s driving me crazy. Do you know how hard it is to tell these woman that we are not Bentley? We keep getting requests from some amazing girls. I’m talking like OFF THE CHARTS amazing. Imagine if Bentley’s hair was a woman, then take it down a notch–that’s what I am talking about.

I am sorry but who is HE to say that Ashley is an ugly duckling. Has he looked in the mirror recently? He is not attractive and an a hole to boot! He would be lucky if any girl was interested in him.
