William H is kinda a train wreck, isn’t he? Ben C was ready to leave for online dating. That’s all insights we’ve got from him. But anyway, Bentley stayed for 3 weeks and was on an ego trip. Courtney didn’t start any controversies until episode 4′s cocktail party besides “How do those words taste, coming out of your mouth?”, randomly accused Lindzi of being arrogant or something on the other hand, she helped people with their hair and lent them her shoes, necklaces, played with stray dogs and cats down the street, gets naked without inhabition therefore seemed a bit odd. Bentley was just kind of there… in the house. Some people like him. Some people are just eh.. don’t know what Ashley sees in him, granted his looks. Of course producers are going to provoke “villain” targets to say dirts about other guys and the title. They could make Kacie B a villain if they want; “That Jamie? She’s a bit dumb.” but because it’s not just Casey S who really really likes her, and it’s easier to make her seems the good girl. Villain targets who didn’t fall into the trap are Kalon and probably Blakeley. Kalon makes crude jokes and mocks generalizations in real life bur he didn’t attack anybody on that show (just Emily, post-show but so do some other guys) Also guys just say Kalon never made an effort to get to know people, didn’t talk much, was nice but not very friendly. People judged him from the time he was an anonymous guy to arrive with a helicopter and continued to spit dirts on him throughout. While his friend claimed that producers put him in that helicopter. Then everything nice he said becomes “He only told her what she wanted to hear.” True but again, so do other guys. None of these 3 villains are that bad. Bentley is probably the worst though, about as bad as Chris “Grown-Ass Man” Bukowski on Bachelor Pad 3 minus outbursts and pissed off face.

Final tally: Bentley made himself look like a monster on national TV, wasn’t brought back to be the Bachelor or appear on Bachelor Pad, inspired much-deserved loathing from people ranging to his ex-wife to fans and critics around the world, and has vanished back into obscurity.
Ashley and JP just got married in a beautiful ceremony that’s about to be fully covered on ABC.
Yeah, I admire your efforts to defend Bentley because everyone deserves an advocate, but in the Bentley/Ashley competition, it’s game over, he lost, end of story.

It didn’t sound like honesty – every single time he had camera time he went out of his way to repeat that he was playing her and that she was such a nothing – it was so obvious he had an agenda, nothing he said even to the camera was at all sincere, he just wanted to use Ashley and the program to make his mark. He might have gotten away with it better if he was more attractive :p

Bentely Williams Apologists,

You, the authors/creators of this blog (whom I suspect to be a lone female referring to herself as “we”) claim that your aim is to simply defend the former Bachelorette contestant and prove that he is being unfairy treated/interpreted. However, in reality, this blog is simply about circulating rumours, trashing the current Bachelorette, the contestants (excluding Bentley of course) as well as the show itself, and promoting the former contestant (Bentley).

You ridicule the contests and make horrible remarks towards them, for no reason what so ever. Except perhaps to demonstrate your mean spirited nature. Further more, you claim in your posts that Bentley’s comments were edited, however you have no proof to back up your allegations. You not only lack evidence, but also show great ignorance. The producers allow you to WATCH Bentley as he SAYS the words. They are not simply audio commentary. The audience SEES him saying the words. If there was gross editing as you allege, then it would be obvious and you would have proof.

Having said that, you are entitled to your opinion and to your own personal webspace. You have accomplished what I suspect you sought out to do. To ridicule the show, the bachelorette, the contestants, defend (and almost worship) Bentley, spread rumours/false allegations, create further interest in your blog as well as Bentley himself, and to rebel against good and just morals and values.

You are the one relying completely on a show that films three months in advance and depends entirely on “good” filming for its success. So what happens if there is a dull week…then what? I mean common, Seriously? Seriously? You really fall for this stuff. Four seasons in a row now they have coincidentally had a “bad” person. They edit this thing up so much to fit their venue it is fascinating that they can still legally call it reality tv. And regarding NE, as you already mention…On should hold anything NE says with suspicion…Great!…(you) Do that…Think a little before flapping your gums.

Obviously Laura you are acting irrationally, speaking from your emotions without due cause or reason. Where there to be one scrap of reason left in you, you might sit back and ponder how NBC does it. How do they manage to attract the audiences time and time again? How is it that they are able to create such drama? Such romance? yet time and time again once off the air the relationships crash? Why is it that there seems to be one or two people that play the fool, that are there “for the wrong reasons”? How is it that every single week is so amazing? So captivation? So emotionally arousing? How is it that there is never a dull date? Their is always so much suspense? How is it that the bachelor or bachelorette is always the favorite? They are never dull or un-enchanting? They approach every situation with such grace? Their comments and remarks are so mature and appropriate? Is NBC really that good at selecting them? Year and year again? And yet during all this. Day after day. NBC producers maintain as their moto “Integrity”-(robot voice) We shall not edit the data to get gain. We shall not change peoples words to create higher ratings. We shall not….Come on. Seriously? One more time. Seriously? You really follow this crap and find it so compelling that you have to get onto a website and talk trash about someone you don’t even know except from what you have seen on a precast, pre filmed, “Reality” TV show. Get a grip on life. Get a grip on reality. Go outside and hug a telephone pole-that is real. Not your TV.

Perhaps one day the 10 minutes I have spent will not be a complete waste, and reason will force its way into your life for a short time. Of course, it likely will not last for long, just until you go to sears to replace the TV that broke. But during that brief time without your TV. Just stop and think, ‘Look what I have become’….and then maybe the lights will come on and you’ll say to yourself in a soft but firm voice, “Damn you TV, Damn you”

All in all you are nothing more than a product of your television and the media. You are a not your own anymore, but simply a walking entity created by the TV producers and emotion that holds you captive.

I’m not sure where you are getting your information from. Certainly not firsthand experience in banking. “Analyst” is actually one of the highest paying jobs you can get out of college. I wouldn’t call 6 figures (total comp) a “relative crappy paying job”. Relative to what? Where else can you make that much money right out of college? Also, out of business school, you would come in at an Associate level (making $300K in a bad year), senior to analyst but junior to VP. BTW, I worked for another bank (as an Associate out of B-School) where the majority of analysts get promoted. In fact, a guy I used to work with started as an analyst, worked his way up to Managing Director and is now happily retired at 40. The ones that left went to top business schools or went on to make more money at a fund. It is very rare that someone would start their own business right after the analyst program. And how can anyone badmouth Entrepreneurs like that? These are also the people that work tirelessly to develop and promote medical devices and innovations to fight diseases such as cancer. Or develop technology and military defenses. Find green alternatives to mainstream energy to save our planet. Maybe SOME entrepreneurs are media whores but the ones I know are very passionate about their ideas and trying to change the world in a small way or a large way. And they will sell the shirts off their back for an idea they believe in, it takes sacrifice to accomplish great things. I’m not saying that Bentley is any of these things but wanted to set the record straight for those who are being unfairly judged…many friends and colleagues of mine who are brilliant and talented and never had to step on anyone to get ahead.
